These Terms govern your use of the What's My Next ("WMN", "we", "us") app and website, operated from Rotterdam, the Netherlands. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. These Terms also serve as the end user license agreement (EULA) for the app.
WMN helps you discover films and series across streaming services and decide what to watch, alone, with a partner or with your family. We do not host or stream any content; we link you to the services where a title is available. Availability, prices and recommendations come from third parties, are provided as is and can change.
Match scores and their explanations are generated automatically, partly by an AI model. They are suggestions, not facts, and can be wrong.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You can sign in with Apple, Google or email. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for what happens under your account. Choose a username that is not offensive and does not pretend to be someone else.
Parts of WMN are social: profiles, reviews, comments, questions in the community and tips you send to friends. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You may not post or send:
You can report a review, comment, question, answer or profile, and block a user, from the menu next to it in the app. Blocking hides that person's content from you and stops them from contacting you. We review reports and aim to act within 24 hours: we remove content that breaks these rules and suspend or remove the accounts behind it. Text is also checked automatically for offensive words.
Also, don't misuse the service: no attempts to break its security, access data that isn't yours, scrape it, resell it or reverse-engineer it.
You keep ownership of what you write. By posting it in WMN you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, show and translate it within the service, so that the people you share it with can see it. This license ends when you delete the content or your account.
WMN is free to use. WMN Pro is an optional auto-renewable subscription that adds extra features, such as a sharper match score with the reason why, family mode, alerts and insights. What Pro includes and what it costs in your country are shown in the app before you buy.
A Pro member can create a family group; joining someone's family is free. Members see each other's display names and which titles the family matched on. A member can add guests for people without an account, such as children, with a first name or nickname, an age group and favourite genres. Only add someone with their permission, and for a child only as their parent or guardian. If the family owner leaves or deletes their account, the family passes to the member who has been in it the longest.
Film and series information comes from third-party sources such as TMDB and may contain mistakes. Streaming services (Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video and others) are independent services with their own terms. WMN is not affiliated with them and is not responsible for their content, prices or availability.
If you downloaded WMN from the Apple App Store: these Terms are between you and WMN, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app, its content, maintenance or support, or for any claims about it. If the app fails to conform to a warranty that applies by law, you can notify Apple, which may refund the purchase price of the app (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US embargo and are not on a US list of prohibited or restricted parties.
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account, or via whatsmynext.app/delete-account. We may suspend or end accounts that break these Terms, especially the community rules in Section 3.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties, to the extent the law allows. WMN is not liable for indirect or consequential damage arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Dutch law.
We may update these Terms. The latest version is always posted here, and we tell you in the app about significant changes. These Terms are governed by Dutch law. If you live in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country.

Deze voorwaarden gelden voor het gebruik van de app en website van What's My Next ("WMN", "wij", "we"), vanuit Rotterdam. Door een account aan te maken of de app te gebruiken, ga je akkoord met deze voorwaarden en met ons privacybeleid. Deze voorwaarden gelden ook als licentieovereenkomst voor eindgebruikers (EULA) van de app.
WMN helpt je films en series te vinden op je streamingdiensten en te kiezen wat je kijkt, alleen, met een partner of met je familie. We hosten of streamen zelf geen content; we verwijzen je naar de dienst waar een titel te zien is. Beschikbaarheid, prijzen en aanbevelingen komen van derden, worden geleverd zoals ze zijn en kunnen veranderen.
Matchscores en de uitleg erbij worden automatisch gemaakt, deels door een AI-model. Het zijn suggesties, geen feiten, en ze kunnen fout zijn.
Je moet minstens 16 jaar zijn om een account aan te maken. Je logt in met Apple, Google of e-mail. Je bent zelf verantwoordelijk voor een veilige login en voor wat er onder je account gebeurt. Kies een gebruikersnaam die niet beledigend is en niet doet alsof je iemand anders bent.
Delen van WMN zijn sociaal: profielen, reviews, reacties, vragen in de community en tips die je naar vrienden stuurt. We hanteren nultolerantie voor aanstootgevende inhoud en misbruik. Je mag niet plaatsen of sturen:
Je kunt een review, reactie, vraag, antwoord of profiel melden en een gebruiker blokkeren via het menu ernaast in de app. Blokkeren verbergt de inhoud van die persoon voor jou en voorkomt dat die contact met je opneemt. We bekijken meldingen en proberen binnen 24 uur te handelen: we verwijderen inhoud die deze regels breekt en schorsen of verwijderen de accounts erachter. Tekst wordt ook automatisch gecontroleerd op beledigende woorden.
Misbruik de dienst ook niet: probeer de beveiliging niet te omzeilen, geen gegevens te bekijken die niet van jou zijn, en de dienst niet te scrapen, door te verkopen of na te bouwen.
Wat je schrijft blijft van jou. Door het in WMN te plaatsen geef je ons een niet-exclusieve, wereldwijde, kosteloze licentie om het binnen de dienst op te slaan, te tonen en te vertalen, zodat de mensen met wie je het deelt het kunnen zien. Deze licentie eindigt als je de inhoud of je account verwijdert.
WMN is gratis te gebruiken. WMN Pro is een optioneel abonnement dat automatisch wordt verlengd en extra functies toevoegt, zoals een scherpere matchscore met uitleg, familiemodus, meldingen en inzichten. Wat Pro bevat en wat het in jouw land kost, zie je in de app voordat je koopt.
Een Pro-lid kan een familie aanmaken; meedoen in iemands familie is gratis. Leden zien elkaars weergavenaam en op welke titels de familie een match had. Een lid kan gasten toevoegen voor mensen zonder account, zoals kinderen, met een voornaam of bijnaam, een leeftijdsgroep en favoriete genres. Voeg alleen iemand toe met diens toestemming, en een kind alleen als ouder of voogd. Als de eigenaar de familie verlaat of zijn account verwijdert, gaat de familie over naar het lid dat er het langst in zit.
Informatie over films en series komt van externe bronnen zoals TMDB en kan fouten bevatten. Streamingdiensten (Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video en andere) zijn zelfstandige diensten met eigen voorwaarden. WMN is niet aan hen verbonden en niet verantwoordelijk voor hun inhoud, prijzen of beschikbaarheid.
Heb je WMN uit de App Store van Apple gedownload: deze voorwaarden gelden tussen jou en WMN, niet Apple. Apple is niet verantwoordelijk voor de app, de inhoud, het onderhoud of de ondersteuning, en ook niet voor claims over de app. Voldoet de app niet aan een wettelijke garantie, dan kun je dat aan Apple melden, die dan de aankoopprijs van de app (als die er is) kan terugbetalen; verder heeft Apple geen garantieverplichting. Apple en haar dochterondernemingen zijn derde begunstigden van deze voorwaarden en kunnen ze tegenover jou afdwingen. Je bevestigt dat je niet in een land woont waarvoor een Amerikaans embargo geldt en niet op een Amerikaanse lijst van verboden of beperkte partijen staat.
Je kunt je account altijd verwijderen via Profiel → Account verwijderen, of via whatsmynext.app/delete-account. We kunnen accounts schorsen of beëindigen die deze voorwaarden breken, vooral de regels voor de community in deel 3.
De dienst wordt geleverd zoals hij is, zonder garanties, voor zover de wet dat toestaat. WMN is niet aansprakelijk voor indirecte schade of gevolgschade door het gebruik van de dienst. Niets in deze voorwaarden beperkt aansprakelijkheid die volgens Nederlands recht niet beperkt mag worden.
We kunnen deze voorwaarden aanpassen. De nieuwste versie staat altijd hier, en belangrijke wijzigingen melden we in de app. Op deze voorwaarden is Nederlands recht van toepassing. Woon je in de EU, dan houd je ook de bescherming van het dwingende consumentenrecht van jouw land.
